# Fake Caller vs Safe

The clearest difference is ads: Fake Caller at none against Safe's shown. Fake Caller also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Safe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 100 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fake Caller ships an update every 100 months, Safe fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
