# Marrakech Map and Walks vs Direct Ferries

The clearest difference is rating: Direct Ferries at 4.7 against Marrakech Map and Walks's 3.5. Direct Ferries also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Marrakech Map and Walks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 29%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Direct Ferries holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Direct Ferries has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Marrakech Map and Walks's written reviews are positive against 29% of Direct Ferries's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
