# Thermometer vs Zynect Sensors

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Zynect Sensors at 100% against Thermometer's 30%. Zynect Sensors also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Thermometer's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 6). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thermometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Zynect Sensors asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thermometer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermometer has 4.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Thermometer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zynect Sensors's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Thermometer ships an update every 2 months, Zynect Sensors every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
