# POLITICO vs NICKLpass

The clearest difference is rating: POLITICO at 4.7 against NICKLpass's 3.4. POLITICO also leads on ratings volume (49K vs 12) and chart position (#72 vs unranked). NICKLpass's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

POLITICO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POLITICO has 49K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of POLITICO's written reviews are positive against 33% of NICKLpass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

POLITICO ships an update monthly, NICKLpass weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
