# POLITICO vs Farm Progress

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Farm Progress at 75% against POLITICO's 30%. Farm Progress also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). POLITICO's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (49K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

POLITICO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POLITICO has 49K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of POLITICO's written reviews are positive against 75% of Farm Progress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

POLITICO ships an update monthly, Farm Progress every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
