# POLITICO vs AF Link

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AF Link at 94% against POLITICO's 30%. AF Link also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). POLITICO's advantage is ratings volume (49K vs 43) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

POLITICO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POLITICO has 49K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of POLITICO's written reviews are positive against 94% of AF Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

POLITICO ships an update monthly, AF Link every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
