# Chicks vs Death Drop

The clearest difference is rating: Death Drop at 3.9 against Chicks's 3.0. Chicks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (3.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chicks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Death Drop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Death Drop holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 87 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Chicks's written reviews are positive against 57% of Death Drop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chicks ships an update every 2 months, Death Drop every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
