# FA World vs NY Waterway

The clearest difference is price: NY Waterway at Free against FA World's $3.99. NY Waterway also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (7.9K vs 9). FA World's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 16%). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

NY Waterway is free to download; FA World costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NY Waterway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NY Waterway has 7.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of FA World's written reviews are positive against 16% of NY Waterway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
