# Slate.fr vs RTL

The clearest difference is rating: RTL at 4.6 against Slate.fr's 1.0. RTL also leads on review sentiment (45% vs 8%) and ratings volume (94 vs 1). Slate.fr's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RTL holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTL has 94 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
