# Checklists App vs Mini Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mini Notes at 81% against Checklists App's 22%. Mini Notes also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). Checklists App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Mini Notes is free to download; Checklists App costs $0.99 up front. Mini Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Checklists App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Checklists App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mini Notes has 75 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Checklists App's written reviews are positive against 81% of Mini Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Checklists App ships an update every 10 months, Mini Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
