# catechism.app vs Remember God

The clearest difference is update cadence: Remember God at every 5 days against catechism.app's every 6 weeks. Remember God also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (4 vs 1). catechism.app's advantage is ratings volume (166 vs 5) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. catechism.app sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year and Remember God sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remember God holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: catechism.app has 166 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

catechism.app ships an update every 6 weeks, Remember God every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
