# SecureSafe Password Manager vs OTS Manager

The clearest difference is monetization model: OTS Manager at free against SecureSafe Password Manager's freemium. OTS Manager also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). SecureSafe Password Manager's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OTS Manager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SecureSafe Password Manager has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SecureSafe Password Manager ships an update every 2 months, OTS Manager fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
