# iVideoCamera Lite vs VideoPad Masters

The clearest difference is rating: iVideoCamera Lite at 4.8 against VideoPad Masters's 4.4. iVideoCamera Lite also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). VideoPad Masters's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 86 months) and review sentiment (71% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iVideoCamera Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and VideoPad Masters sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iVideoCamera Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VideoPad Masters has 33 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of iVideoCamera Lite's written reviews are positive against 71% of VideoPad Masters's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iVideoCamera Lite ships an update every 86 months, VideoPad Masters every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
