# iVideoCamera Lite vs Syn

iVideoCamera Lite and Syn both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Syn's written reviews are positive against 44% of iVideoCamera Lite's. Syn also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 86 months) and ratings volume (51 vs 6). iVideoCamera Lite's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iVideoCamera Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Syn sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for iVideoCamera Lite against 4.7 for Syn. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Syn has 51 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
