# Paperless vs Daily Checklist

The clearest difference is price: Daily Checklist at Free against Paperless's $2.99. Daily Checklist also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). Paperless's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 70%) and chart position (#64 vs unranked). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Daily Checklist is free to download; Paperless costs $2.99 up front. Paperless sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Daily Checklist sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Checklist holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 495 and 287 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Paperless's written reviews are positive against 70% of Daily Checklist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paperless ships an update every 2 months, Daily Checklist every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
