# Paperless vs Checklist+

The clearest difference is price: Checklist+ at Free against Paperless's $2.99. Checklist+ also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 494). Paperless's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 50%) and ads (none vs shown). On rating, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Checklist+ is free to download; Paperless costs $2.99 up front. Paperless sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Checklist+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Paperless against 4.4 for Checklist+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist+ has 7.9K ratings behind it against 494, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Paperless's written reviews are positive against 50% of Checklist+'s.

Paperless ships an update every 2 months, Checklist+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
