# Dice Dice vs CastDice

The clearest difference is rating: Dice Dice at 4.6 against CastDice's 4.0. Dice Dice also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). CastDice's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dice Dice holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice Dice has 30K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
