# Dice Dice vs Dice

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dice at fortnightly against Dice Dice's every 3 months. Dice also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Dice Dice's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 68) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dice holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice Dice has 30K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dice Dice ships an update every 3 months, Dice fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
