# Make Me Smile vs Second Sense

The clearest difference is update cadence: Second Sense at every 3 weeks against Make Me Smile's every 2 months. Second Sense also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make Me Smile sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Second Sense sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Make Me Smile ships an update every 2 months, Second Sense every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
