# Notability vs AI Agent

Notability and AI Agent both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AI Agent's written reviews are positive against 36% of Notability's. AI Agent also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Notability's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (458K vs 111). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notability sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and AI Agent sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notability holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notability has 458K ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Notability's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Agent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notability ships an update every 6 days, AI Agent monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
