# MDVR vs Affiliated

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Affiliated at 40 against MDVR's 6. MDVR's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.5 for MDVR against 2.5 for Affiliated. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Affiliated has 40 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of MDVR's written reviews are positive against 33% of Affiliated's.

MDVR ships an update every 3 months, Affiliated every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
