# Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker vs FLEXHOTEL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FLEXHOTEL at 100% against Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker's 64%. FLEXHOTEL also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. FLEXHOTEL asks for nothing beyond the download.

Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker has 61K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of FLEXHOTEL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker ships an update every 10 days, FLEXHOTEL every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
