# SG NextBus vs RecordMyTrip

The clearest difference is rating: SG NextBus at 4.5 against RecordMyTrip's 1.0. SG NextBus also leads on ratings volume (291 vs 1). RecordMyTrip's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SG NextBus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RecordMyTrip asks for nothing beyond the download.

SG NextBus holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SG NextBus has 291 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of SG NextBus's written reviews are positive against 100% of RecordMyTrip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SG NextBus ships an update every 4 months, RecordMyTrip every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
