# CaskFinder vs PETKIT

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PETKIT at 20K against CaskFinder's 41. PETKIT also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for CaskFinder against 4.6 for PETKIT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PETKIT has 20K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of CaskFinder's written reviews are positive against 52% of PETKIT's.

CaskFinder ships an update every 2 months, PETKIT fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
