# KakaoTalk vs Helpix

The clearest difference is rating: Helpix at 5.0 against KakaoTalk's 4.4. Helpix also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). KakaoTalk's advantage is ratings volume (49K vs 1) and chart position (#111 vs unranked). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KakaoTalk sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Helpix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Helpix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KakaoTalk has 49K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
