# Avisos de Ocasión vs El Universal +

The clearest difference is rating: El Universal + at 5.0 against Avisos de Ocasión's 3.7. Avisos de Ocasión's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

El Universal + holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Avisos de Ocasión's written reviews are positive against 63% of El Universal +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Avisos de Ocasión ships an update every 2 months, El Universal + every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
