# Trucker Tools vs Off Max Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Off Max Driver at 100% against Trucker Tools's 22%. Trucker Tools's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (2K vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trucker Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trucker Tools has 2K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Trucker Tools's written reviews are positive against 100% of Off Max Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trucker Tools ships an update every 3 weeks, Off Max Driver fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
