# Camera Lucida™ vs Flowly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Camera Lucida™ at 89% against Flowly's 42%. Camera Lucida™ also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (2K vs 54). Flowly's advantage is price (Free vs $14.99) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Flowly is free to download; Camera Lucida™ costs $14.99 up front. Camera Lucida™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flowly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Camera Lucida™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera Lucida™ has 2K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of Camera Lucida™'s written reviews are positive against 42% of Flowly's.

Camera Lucida™ ships an update every 4 months, Flowly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
