# Document Manager for iPad vs RarExtractor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RarExtractor at none against Document Manager for iPad's 10. RarExtractor also leads on price ($0.99 vs $6.99) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Document Manager for iPad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RarExtractor has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Document Manager for iPad's written reviews are positive against 48% of RarExtractor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
