# DTMFdec vs Skytelecom

The clearest difference is price: Skytelecom at Free against DTMFdec's $2.99. Skytelecom also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 25 months). DTMFdec's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 2.8) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Skytelecom is free to download; DTMFdec costs $2.99 up front. Skytelecom sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. DTMFdec asks for nothing beyond the download.

DTMFdec holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of DTMFdec's written reviews are positive against 67% of Skytelecom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DTMFdec ships an update every 25 months, Skytelecom weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
