# Mobile Mouse vs Remote Mouse for iPad

The clearest difference is price: Remote Mouse for iPad at Free against Mobile Mouse's $2.99. Remote Mouse for iPad also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.2) and ratings volume (285 vs 5). Mobile Mouse's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 50%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Remote Mouse for iPad is free to download; Mobile Mouse costs $2.99 up front. Mobile Mouse sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Remote Mouse for iPad sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Mouse for iPad holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Mouse for iPad has 285 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Mobile Mouse's written reviews are positive against 50% of Remote Mouse for iPad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
