# Netflix vs iTalkBB TV

The clearest difference is monetization model: iTalkBB TV at free with in-app purchases against Netflix's subscription. iTalkBB TV also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 59%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). Netflix's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7.5M vs 731). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Netflix sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and iTalkBB TV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Netflix holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Netflix has 7.5M ratings behind it against 731, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Netflix's written reviews are positive against 81% of iTalkBB TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Netflix ships an update weekly, iTalkBB TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
