# Countdown to an Event vs Countdown@

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown@ at every 5 days against Countdown to an Event's every 2 months. Countdown@ also leads on ratings volume (40K vs 45) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Countdown to an Event's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 37%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown to an Event sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown@ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown@ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown@ has 40K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Countdown to an Event's written reviews are positive against 37% of Countdown@'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Countdown to an Event ships an update every 2 months, Countdown@ every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
