# Banner Extreme vs UBCab

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Banner Extreme at 70% against UBCab's 20%. Banner Extreme also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). UBCab's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.7 vs 3.0). On in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

UBCab is free to download; Banner Extreme costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UBCab holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UBCab has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Banner Extreme's written reviews are positive against 20% of UBCab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Banner Extreme ships an update every 2 months, UBCab every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
