# Scenic Map Eastern USA vs Guru Maps Pro

The clearest difference is price: Scenic Map Eastern USA at $4.99 against Guru Maps Pro's $89.99. Scenic Map Eastern USA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Guru Maps Pro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 6). On ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Scenic Map Eastern USA costs $4.99 and Guru Maps Pro $89.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scenic Map Eastern USA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guru Maps Pro has 1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Scenic Map Eastern USA's written reviews are positive against 77% of Guru Maps Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scenic Map Eastern USA ships an update every 4 months, Guru Maps Pro weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
