# The DailyHoroscope vs The Pattern

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The DailyHoroscope at 94% against The Pattern's 42%. The DailyHoroscope also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (96K vs 16K). The Pattern's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The DailyHoroscope sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and The Pattern sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The DailyHoroscope holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The DailyHoroscope has 96K ratings behind it against 16K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of The DailyHoroscope's written reviews are positive against 42% of The Pattern's.

The DailyHoroscope ships an update monthly, The Pattern weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
