# PolyTune vs FracPad Lite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PolyTune at 66% against FracPad Lite's 14%. PolyTune also leads on ratings volume (80 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). FracPad Lite's advantage is price (Free vs $4.99) and rating (5.0 vs 2.8). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

FracPad Lite is free to download; PolyTune costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FracPad Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PolyTune has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of PolyTune's written reviews are positive against 14% of FracPad Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PolyTune ships an update every 40 months, FracPad Lite every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
