# iScore Baseball and Softball vs PlayMaker Baseball

The clearest difference is rating: PlayMaker Baseball at 4.5 against iScore Baseball and Softball's 4.2. PlayMaker Baseball also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). iScore Baseball and Softball's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 58%) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 191). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iScore Baseball and Softball sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PlayMaker Baseball sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayMaker Baseball holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iScore Baseball and Softball has 1.4K ratings behind it against 191, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of iScore Baseball and Softball's written reviews are positive against 58% of PlayMaker Baseball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iScore Baseball and Softball ships an update fortnightly, PlayMaker Baseball every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
