# Sketch Me! vs Silhouette Maker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sketch Me! at 7K against Silhouette Maker's 183. Sketch Me! also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Silhouette Maker's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sketch Me! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Silhouette Maker sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Silhouette Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sketch Me! has 7K ratings behind it against 183, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Sketch Me!'s written reviews are positive against 57% of Silhouette Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sketch Me! ships an update every 2 months, Silhouette Maker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
