# Sketch Me! vs GHOSTLINE

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sketch Me! at free with in-app purchases against GHOSTLINE's subscription. Sketch Me! also leads on ratings volume (7K vs 359) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). GHOSTLINE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sketch Me! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GHOSTLINE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Sketch Me! against 4.6 for GHOSTLINE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sketch Me! has 7K ratings behind it against 359, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Sketch Me!'s written reviews are positive against 69% of GHOSTLINE's.

Sketch Me! ships an update every 2 months, GHOSTLINE monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
