# DarkFlow vs Car City Rally

The clearest difference is monetization model: Car City Rally at free against DarkFlow's paid. Car City Rally also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.6). DarkFlow's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 9%) and ratings volume (101 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Car City Rally holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DarkFlow has 101 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of DarkFlow's written reviews are positive against 9% of Car City Rally's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DarkFlow ships an update every 2 months, Car City Rally every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
