# SharePlus for Office 365 vs Word Processor

The clearest difference is rating: Word Processor at 4.4 against SharePlus for Office 365's 3.4. Word Processor also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (902 vs 26). SharePlus for Office 365's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SharePlus for Office 365 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $17.99 per year and Word Processor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Processor holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Processor has 902 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SharePlus for Office 365's written reviews are positive against 42% of Word Processor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SharePlus for Office 365 ships an update every 2 months, Word Processor every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
