# AirCoaster vs VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy

The clearest difference is rating: VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy at 4.5 against AirCoaster's 3.7. VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 242) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). AirCoaster's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirCoaster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy sells 22 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy has 1.5K ratings behind it against 242, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of AirCoaster's written reviews are positive against 46% of VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AirCoaster ships an update monthly, VR Space Roller Coaster Galaxy every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
