# Documents vs Cloud Music

The clearest difference is rating: Documents at 4.8 against Cloud Music's 4.0. Documents also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (632K vs 121). Cloud Music's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 71%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Documents sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Cloud Music sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Documents holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Documents has 632K ratings behind it against 121, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Documents's written reviews are positive against 84% of Cloud Music's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Documents ships an update every 6 days, Cloud Music every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
