# Documents vs HaloVPN

The clearest difference is ads: Documents at none against HaloVPN's shown. Documents also leads on ratings volume (631K vs 15K) and chart position (#69 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Documents sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and HaloVPN sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Documents against 4.7 for HaloVPN.
