# Synth vs Warp

The clearest difference is price: Warp at Free against Synth's $0.99. Warp also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). Synth's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Warp is free to download; Synth costs $0.99 up front. Synth sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Warp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Warp holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Synth's written reviews are positive against 67% of Warp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
