# Field Agent vs Airtasker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Field Agent at free against Airtasker's free with in-app purchases. Field Agent also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 45%) and ratings volume (12K vs 3K). Airtasker's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Airtasker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Field Agent's written reviews are positive against 45% of Airtasker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Field Agent ships an update every 9 days, Airtasker weekly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
