# Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) vs Fanicon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) at 42% against Fanicon's 19%. Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) also leads on ratings volume (526 vs 60). Fanicon's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $23.99 per month and Fanicon sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fanicon holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) has 526 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting)'s written reviews are positive against 19% of Fanicon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twitcast Viewer (TwitCasting) ships an update every 10 days, Fanicon fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
