# Gradcracker vs ISIC

The clearest difference is ads: ISIC at none against Gradcracker's shown. ISIC also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (104 vs 1). Gradcracker's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 20%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ISIC holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ISIC has 104 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Gradcracker's written reviews are positive against 20% of ISIC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
