# Forever 21 vs Pacsun

The clearest difference is monetization model: Forever 21 at free against Pacsun's free with in-app purchases. Forever 21 also leads on ratings volume (474K vs 67K). Pacsun's advantage is chart position (#172 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Forever 21 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forever 21 has 474K ratings behind it against 67K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of Forever 21's written reviews are positive against 48% of Pacsun's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
